The Wall Street Journal was the first to report that Dell would be launching an Android phone for AT&T and now Michael Dell himself has confirmed the rumor. The device is expected to be similar in design (not specs) to the Dell Mini 3i which launched this summer for China Mobile. A reporter from TechPulse is claiming the phone will appear “in the first months of next year.”
Pictures of the China Mini 3i appear below from mobile.163.com. Does anyone else reckon it’s weird this phone rolled out in China, but there is virtually no information about it on the web? I know China Mobile is a state-owned enterprise, but you reckon someone could upload a video of the phone to YouTube.
