We posted bits and pieces of the Samsung Moment specs during our live post today. I tried multiple times to get Samsung Mobile to produce a complete list of hardware specs, and while they gave me a press kit it was missing all the details. I spoke with a dozen people from Samsung and Sprint and was able to compile the following list.

Known specs of the Samsung Moment:

  • 800 MHz Samsung S3C6410 CPU
  • 3.2 inch AMOLED show (320 x 480 pixels) 16M colors
  • 512 MB ROM / 256 MB RAM
  • Dimensions: 4.6 x 2.34 x 0.63 inches; weight 5.67 oz.
  • 2 GB microSD card included / expandable up to 32 GB
  • Standard Lithium (LiIon) battery 1440 mAh (up to 5.5 hours continuous talk time)
  • QWERTY keyboard that slides out horizontally
  • 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and camcorder with auto-focus
  • WiFi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth, GPS
  • Accelerometer and proximity sensor
  • Outlook e-mail with Microsoft Direct Push Technology and HTML support; E-mail (EAS), POP, IMAP
  • Easily view Word, Excel, PowerPoint on the go to maximize productivity
  • Ships with Android 1.5

We like the 800 MHz CPU, but are a small sad this phone will ship with Android 1.5. I reckon we were able to uncover most of the specs, but if we missed something please let me know.
