Last week when we first heard about the T-Mobile event being held on April 21st in NYC, we were “please, please, pleasing” that it would be an Android related announcement (T-Mobile G2?). The very next day it seemed that the event would be for a T-Mobile BlackBerry. And today, we’re unpleased to announce that the event in NYC tomorrow will be to announce the Sidekick LX and will have NOTHING to do with Android.
I say unpleased not because the Sidekick LX is a poor phone, but simply because… you know - we are obsessed with Android. We figure some of you out there might be holding on to some thread of hope that Android could make an appearance but the chances are zilch. Sorry, we are just as disappointed as you.
Here is the invitation that was sent out for the event:

T-Mobile also made a little promotional unboxing video that is light on the unboxing and heavy on the “oh my gosh, that is like, so.. like, coool!” factor:
PS: I’m eager to see if anyone corrects me regarding the word unpleased - saying it should in fact be displeased - disparaging my skills before reading the whole post. Que the typo comments in 3… 2… 1…
